This is one of our favorites, The entire cream-colored silk outer garment was textured using the shibori technique. The shibori technqiue and handpainting of the the outlines created an overall pattern that reminds one of a lotus flower. The white silk upper lining is delicately handpainted--stunning!
This outstanding example of textile technique and workmanship is in very good condition; however, we found a few spots of light discoloration here and there.
