Late 20th century cream uchikake with red shibori (traditional tie dyeing) and red lining. Features lavish gold and silver embroidery of the "Three Trees of Winter"--pine, bamboo and plum--along with wheeled carts and several cranes. Heavily padded hem. Outstanding workmanship.
Some discoloration of cream fabric (as expected with light-colored vintage silk) and light scuffs and stains on sleeves and collar from normal use and storage.
