Unusual and diminutive kokeshi doll with traditional features. Her head is shaped like an egg cup and is flat on top. Her serious face suggests thoughtful contemplation. Her body columnal has rounded shoulders and is decorated with red and green strips at the top and bottom and crysanthemums in the middle. The wood is a light, natural color with distinctive grain showing through. The condition is very good with only few and slight indentations.
