Dramatic and rare Yajiro kokeshi doll measuring a large 14.5" and decorated in shades of black and gray with pink mouth. This handsome doll is wonderfully crafted with a prominent bullseye on the top of her head, curved shoulders and slender waist. In addition to the rings of paint around her body, she also has a painted kimono design. The condition is very good with a soft, yellow patina from age. There are minor indentations on her face, near the mouth, but these are not significant and do not distract from the beauty of this piece.
