This traditional Naruko kokeshi doll is one of our largest, measuring 17.5". It would make a dramatic display for your Asian decor or folk art collection. This round head sits atop a body that is tapered in the middle. She makes the tell-tale squeaking (crying) sound when her head is turned. Her facial features are strong in design and color. The painted body shows wear from years of handling and there is paint loss from moisture and fading. There are discolorations on the head and face as shown in the photos.
